Personal Security

This is hilarious and scary at the same time. This guy wired a webcam to a BB Gun and can control it remotely. I only wish I had it back in Albany when we had skunk and critter problems.....

Imagine if you hooked a real gun up to it.

Edamame

My parents came to visit last weekend and on sunday we went to japanese food. We let Liana have a piece of edamame and she replaced her tongue with it.....

Tackling Rogue

Liana has been chasing Rogue ever since she could walk. Today she caught him and tackled him. Rogue's legs are what is sticking out under Liana.

The De Young

Ted came over last weekend and we went for a trip to the new De Young museum in San Francisco. They just rebuilt and I used to live right down the street when I got out of Cal Poly.

Here is a photo of the outdoor dining area and the cool overhang. Ted is hanging out at the table. The building had a lot of differnt angles and interesting forms which brought daylight into the building and weird shaped courtyards.


Liana had fun hanging out on the lawn in front of the seating area. Yes that is a huge cantileaver. The building is clad in copper and doesn't seem to be wearing very well. Oh well, I'm sure it looked good for the Architect's photos.


The museum also has a tower which is the highest point in the area. It had nice views of the Richmond district. Here is Gabbie and Liana posing with Gabbie's old apartment somewhere back there.


Here is a photo of the construction on the new Academy of Sciences and UCSF in the background. We informed Liana that is where she was born, but she was not interested.


Of course the tower could not have a normal angle. Liana decided that she could hang out in her own little corner.
