Forgivness
If you ever seen the Just Friends Movie where the main character has to promote this singer/songwriter Samatha James who is a bit scary. In the movie she sings a song Forgiveness which is amazing how close it sounds to the new Avril Lavigne song. In fact Avrils probably the inspiration behind the character.

Video Games make you fat
After all the hype with the PS3 and the Wii, I think one aspect has been over looked in the comparisons. Not Blue Ray, not HD, not cool games, etc but the fact that we'll be sitting on the couch even more to play video games and not out romping the fields as most health professionals say we should be. Not to mention the countless health people who say our kids are fat because they sit down all day after school and play Play Station. I'm jealous, cause I only wish I had the time for that.
I remember reading an article in Businessweek that combats the anti-fat kid thing by making them sit on a bicycle or treadmill while playing and that the game would only work while peddling.

But Nintendo has gone beyond and created a machine that parents will just eat up. All their worries that little Johnny isn't active and turning into a fatty will be solved by the Wii. What parent wouldn't choose the Wii over the PS3. In fact I should go out and buy one for Liana so I can test it out for the next 5 years. The Wii has a controller makes them move and maybe get some exercise. Of course that means the kid actually has to move when playing and not just move the controller with minimum movement. There is a whole sports package and even a track and field one.
Anyways as a contrarty to the Super Size me documentary this guy did the same with the Wii and lost weight. Of course he moves the controller like a psycho so of course he loses weight.

On the scary and sad side, a parent tried so hard to win a Wii for her kids she died in a water drinking contest.

Ted let me have his Guitar Hero game ( www.guitarherogame.com) and I'm addicted. Maybe I'll take the fake guitar and dance around, bang my head, do big windmill strums like Pete Townsend from The Who, and jump up and down and see how much exercise I get. Better yet I'll get on the floor, kick my legs into a pinwheel, and then do a headstand while playing.
