I hate baseball.....

The Giants are on the verge of elimination with a crappy loss last night. Another grand slam to put us out of contention like Steve Finley's slam last year for the Dodgers. Plus I went to the A's game and watched the freaking Angels clinch the west division. Once again my childhood team that dissapointed me throughout my youth now rises from the Giants in 2002 and now the A's.

I'm tired of watching other teams celebrate. The Padres could celebrate on the Giants tonight and I think I'll cry if that happens. I'll definitely turn off the TV. My only hope is that we can win the next two games and let SD clinch somewhere else.

Baseball and Cars

Thats whats on my mind. Baseball and Cars. Sounds weird but.

Cars
Our Jeep dies on us in Roseville. Luckily its near Carmax where we bought it so we left it there and took the train home. My Jetta front grill flys off while driving on the freeway. Turns out the service guy who worked on the engine a couple of weeks ago slipped into the engine area and probably jostled it loose. Now we are waiting on Carmax to call us since we dropped off the car without an appointment and VW is going to paint a new grill to stick on my car.

Baseball
The Giants still have failed to have me lose complete hope in them. They beat SD last night to pull within 3 games with 6 to go. Its a long shot but what the hell. Last night the Giants pulled it off with a triple by Randy Winn that was almost caught by Giles but bounced out. Whew...... Catching the Padres is a true fantasy but keeps my sports mind occupied.

This is the best photo of Giles almost catching the end of our season. Some say he almost robbed a home run but I think it would have come off the wall. So I will continue to pray and hope.

Do you hate Barry Bonds?

Its obvious that I do not hate Barry Bonds, but if you do this article is just for you. Just another crazy opinion from the world of journalism blamming Barry for ruining baseball and 0ffending hurricane victums. Might as well blame Iraq and Gas prices on him too.

Barry is a prick, but who isn't that plays at that level. Let us not forget about McGwire, Canseco, Sosa, Pudge, and Giambi who probably did steriods too and Palmerio who did, but since their nice guys we won't ride them as much as we do Barry. The annoyning, self centered man who in fact tries not to be the center of all attention, thats the media's doing.

Morro Bay

This past weekend, we went down for Simone's wedding in Morro Bay. We went down on thursday for Farmers Market in San Luis Obispo, then wedding stuff friday& sat, sunday brunch cruise and hot tub, and then monday we tooled around Montana d'Oro. It was a fun and relaxing weekend back in the Central Coast where Gabbie and I both went to school at Cal Poly.

Oh yeah. Go Giants. We can win a few games and if we get a leprocahn, a rabbits foot, and good feng shui maybe we can make a push. I'm not holding my breath. We would have play like .700 baseball to have a shot. Maybe Barry will just hit 4 homers a day and if we did make it, I'm sure St Louis would just kick our ass.
