Pine St

Below is a pic that I snapped on my new Palm Zire72 that I got from work. Its a bit fuzzy and I was in the car waiting at a stoplight downtown. We had a busy day running around to Macy's to sign up for a registry and then to the East Bay to look at apartments. Yes we are contemplating moving out of the city. Commute and space requirements.



So at the end of the day when we were tired, depressed, and a bit hungover this image looking up Pine St was a heavenly omen. For pure cheeseyness, it was a light at the end of the dark tunnel of a day.

(insert heavy sigh.......)

Why can't my jobsite just have one normal day. Seems like everyday there is a diaster, unhappy homeowner, or some other form of complaining that I have to take care of. They should call Project Managment, Professional Babysitting.

I'm bitter today. One staff person burned my bridge and I had to listen to 2 angry homebuyers. Boy I am not a good customer service person. Well maybe I listen and apologize well but I sure don't like it. Maybe I'll watch some more of the reality show Airpline on A&E and get some pointers from the airline counter people.

News, news, and news

Well.... been a long time since I have left any thoughts here. Lots going on. If you haven't heard Gabrielle and I are engaged! I know many of you are saying finally. On July 25, 2004, Gabbie and I went to dinner, then for a walk in the city, and at Alta Vista park with a view of the city I asked Gabrielle to spend the rest of her life with me.

So life is busy with meeting friends, family, and planning a wedding. Well Gabbie plans the Wedding and I try and help. We have set a date for June 25, 2004 and we are getting married at St. Dominics http://www.stdominics.org/ at Bush and Steiner. The reception will be held at the Presidio's Golden Gate Club http://www.goldengateclub.com/. We are in the process of getting the caterer, photographer, etc. I am actually going to try and set up a wedding website so look for that soon.

Professionally life is even busier. I have just be promoted to a Junior PM level at The Terraces. Sorta a hush hush thing so I suppose I shouldn't even put it on here but what are the chances that a Toll APM will read this. The project is crazy with crazy city inspectors, planners, and of course my favorite residents that live here. Nothing seems to go right and is starting to press my whole team.
